We’re members of the following associations because they help us provide safe and effective roofing solutions to our customers.Contact Us
The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) offers a wide range of services to roofing professionals to ensure they deliver proper solutions to their customers. This association has technical resources and training courses to keep contractors’ skills up to date. They also advocate to the federal government on behalf of roofers across the country and endorse certain insurance companies, so contractors know which insurers work well with the roofing industry.
The Western States Roofing Contractors Association (WSRCA) delivers services similar to the NRCA’s, but it works on behalf of the western states specifically. It offers members a variety of benefits, including free job listings, discounts on the Western Roofing Expo’s registration, and access to WSRCA staff and committees. They also have technical and business resources to help roofing contractors provide their services effectively.
The Roofing Contractors Association of California (RCAC) was founded in 1949 to connect roofing companies with California’s state legislature. They’re a non-profit organization that advocates for the interests of roofing businesses in Sacramento. Their committees represent roofers’ interests on a range of issues, including membership, government affairs, websites, and information technology.
National Women in Roofing (NWIR) works to support and advance women’s careers in the roofing industry. Their membership includes women and men who support women working in roofing. This association focuses on recruiting women from diverse backgrounds, mentoring them and providing networking opportunities. They run programs, initiatives, and events that help women find their footing and succeed in the roofing industry.
The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) accredits property managers and companies that work with commercial real estate. We maintain a membership with this organization to show that we’re certified to perform our roofing services on commercial and industrial buildings.
We keep memberships in all of these organizations because they help us promote our beliefs and maintain our industry knowledge and resources. For instance, we believe that women can work successfully in roofing, so we became members of NWIR to help improve their representation in the industry. Similarly, we joined RCAC to ensure we and other roofing companies have a voice in our state legislature. Our membership allows elected representatives to hear our concerns and understand our industry’s needs.
While our memberships in those two associations concern representation in our industry and state government, we also maintain memberships for professional reasons. The NRCA and WSRCA are professional resources our technicians can use to improve their roofing skills and knowledge. Our industry grows and changes every day, so we use these associations to keep up with the latest changes and innovations.
